The Gold Swim Story
The Gold Swim School, formerly known as The Woodstock Swim School, was started in 1996, and has served the community with pride.
Thousands of children have learned to swim and become safer in the water at Gold Swim School.
Owners, Beth and Pat Murphy, believe in water safety and the sport of swimming as being one of the best activities you can give your child. We believe we are in the child development business, as a big picture, and enjoy working with kids and their parents.
Having been in the swim business for over 25 years, we chose the Swim America program to use at our Swim School. This program offers measured skills that you can follow. As your child progresses they are given a sticker to place on their certificate which allows you to see how they are learning. We believe in safety first, and teach a Swim, Float, Swim method to start so a child can breath and yell for help if ever there is a need. Then we move on to learning to swim like a superstar.
We encourage you to visit the Swim America website to learn more about the program.
We are members of the United States Swim School Association, ASCA, and various community organizations.
